About Buck

Mission Goal

Mission Goal

I started designing enclosures at the age of 16, shortly after I experienced my first subwoofer system; I fell in love with bass.  Over 1000 box designs later, my designing skills have increased greatly.  I use those skills to further push the advancement of enclosures I design.

I take designing seriously and put maximum effort into every enclosure that I design.  When  your design sounds amazing, it makes me happy.

Designing is all I'm able to do, so every design I'm able to do means the world to me.

Mission Goal

When designing, I try to make your experience with getting the design you want as easy and as understandable as possible.  Need an explanation as to why certain factors need to be added or changed?  No problem.  Just let me, Buck the designer, know about any questions you may have about doing a design for you, such as what options would be best for your setup.

I can even give equipment advice, from electrical systems, to amps, to what subs you can run, etc.  Just let me know what you need help with.

How Buck Designs

Why a Box is Most Important

Why a Box is Most Important

I take great care in the details of your design.  Many factors are taken into account, to try and give you the most wholesome enclosure design and experience, and then performance once the enclosure is built.  All designs are based around what your needs as a customer are, from the sound of the enclosure, to the skills of the builder.  First time builder?  No problem.  Need a 10,000 watt or more full wall design?  No Problem.

I have my own custom spreadsheets where I calculate airspace to the 100ths of a cubic foot.  My designs are extremely accurate, you can be assured the tuning and the airspace is exactly what it should be for your box design.

Why a Box is Most Important

A subwoofer box separates the rear wave of a subwoofer from the front wave.  Because bass is such a low frequency, the subwoofer front and rear waves would cancel each other out without an enclosure, so no sound would be produced.  A properly designed subwoofer box or enclosure can make or break an entire subwoofer system.  Even if you have $5,000 worth of subwoofers and amps, if the box is poor quality, the subwoofer would sound terrible and not produce bass properly.

A proper design and box build will make sure your enclosure absolutely outperforms those who've bought improper prefabricated enclosures, which are usually absolutely terrible for sound.
